Nikka Miyagikyo is a renowned single malt Japanese whisky produced at the Miyagikyo Distillery in Miyagi Prefecture, established in 1969 by Nikka Whisky founder Masataka Taketsuru. Known for its elegant, fruity, and soft character-contrasting with Nikka's smoky Yoichi malt-it uses unpeated malt, Sherry cask maturation, and indirect steam distillation to achieve a refined flavor.
