Barton 1792 Single Barrel
In order to create this unique bourbon, the finest barrels are selected and tasted from the best aging warehouses. Only those barrels deemed "exceptional" are then bottled individually, one by one. This preserves the distinct character of each barrel.

Note: A very small quantity of whiskies came from this single barrel, so taste variability is higher than with larger production whiskies. Many times this is not a big deal (i.e. Blanton's), but sometimes it matters (i.e. Larceny Barrel Proof versions). If the specific barrel is not listed, ask your server or a store employee for more info.
Tasting Notes
Nose: The single barrel's nose is carried by sweet butterscotch notes, though a bit fruitier overall, with hints of ginger and Fuji apple.
Palate: Flavors of rich butterscotch and caramel notes, delicately balanced with hints of fruit and toffee.
Finish: A sweet finish tempered with warm bitter cloves.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Enticing aromas of rich caramel, vanilla, and seasoned oak are immediately joined by warm cinnamon, dried cherry, and a hint of rye-driven spicy tobacco
Palate: The mouthfeel is notably oily, balancing a sweet, candy-like caramel and vanilla base with lively baking spices, orange zest, and a subtle hint of dried red fruit
Finish: A long, thick, and well-balanced finish that leaves a pleasant lingering warmth of sweet honey, gentle barrel char, and slightly drying toasted oak.
