Springbank 12 Year Old is a robust Campbeltown single malt Scotch whisky bottled at cask strength, known for its complex profile featuring a balance of sweet and smoky characteristics, a creamy mouthfeel, and tropical and fruity notes often accompanied by spicy, nutty, and occasionally medicinal peat smoke. Tasting Notes
Nose: Dried fruit (cherries, apricots), toffee, banana, pineapple, coconut, marzipan, honey, sea spray, and a subtle peaty influence.
Palate: Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, black pepper, cinnamon, licorice, dark fruits, stewed apples, vanilla, toasted oak, and a salty or briny undertone.
Finish: Long, warming, and satisfying, with notes of oak, dried fruits, spices (cinnamon, pepper), soot, and the signature Springbank maritime brine.
