Ardmore Traditional Peated
A Travel Retail exclusive, The Ardmore Tradition is a taste of history itself, journeying back to a time when most Highland distilleries dried their barley with the sweet smoke of local Highland peat. Double matured in oak barrels then smaller Quarter Casks, The Ardmore Tradition is a full and rich liquid, with unique Highland peat smoke flavours.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Full of creamy caramel. Toasted oak with spices is evident and rich and just the faintest peat has muscled its way through.
Palate: The full rich flavours burst and fill the mouth with a creamy peat tang and a touch of vanilla's soft gentleness. If a touch of water is added, then the flavours increase with the addition of a sweet ripe fruit start followed by a tang of peat.
Finish: Full, succulent and quite long. More caramel and sugary barley notes and a lanolin smoothness and more tapering smoke.

Bruichladdich Black Art 26 Year Old (1994 8.1)
The Bruichladdich Black Art 8.1 continues the series' tradition of shrouding its expressions in a veil of mystery where the exact casks used to age the spirit are only known to the head distiller. This is Hannett's 4th release and 8th overall. It was distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2020, making it a 26-year-old single malt that was matured entirely on Islay. It is, of course, non-chill filtered and has no added coloring. This non-peated expression has the oak highlighting the delicate citrusy and fruity notes and is limited to 12,000 individually-numbered bottles.

Note: This whisky is part of an ongoing series, with variability between each release due to differences in mash bill, barrels used, age profile, and others. If the specific version is not listed, ask your server or a store employee for more info.
Tasting Notes
Nose: A bright and delicate nose is spritzed with lemon and mandarin orange, perfumed with salt-sprayed hibiscus, and supported by the creamy sweetness of almonds and pistachios.
Palate: Consistent on the palate, which shines with zingy, zesty lemon, orange, and grapefruit, though cinnamon, peppermint, almonds, and oak offer a tempering influence.
Finish: It finishes with sweet mint and oak, cinnamon, and a creeping tobacco flavor—the end of a great cigar.
