Koval Single Barrel Rye Whiskey is a 100% rye whiskey known for its unique and surprisingly fresh, light character. It features mellow, sweet notes of maple and candy corn, with a spicy finish, all derived from its unique mash bill of organic rye grain. The whiskey is aged in new, charred American oak barrels and is bottled from single barrels, resulting in a unique character for each bottle.

Note: A very small quantity of whiskies came from this single barrel, so taste variability is higher than with larger production whiskies. Many times this is not a big deal (i.e. Blanton's), but sometimes it matters (i.e. Larceny Barrel Proof versions). FEW Spirits Straight Rye Whiskey
FEW Rye is made from a mash of 70% rye, 20% corn and 10% malted barley. "The corn comes from a farmers co-op in Indiana and my barley and rye from farmers in Wisconsin," notes Paul Hletko, owner and Master Distiller. After milling, mashing and fermenting the grains, Hletko distills the wash through his 1,500-liter Kothe copper-pot still imported from Germany.
