Note: A very small quantity of whiskies came from this single barrel, so taste variability is higher than with larger production whiskies. Many times this is not a big deal (i.e. Blanton's), but sometimes it matters (i.e. Larceny Barrel Proof versions). If the specific barrel is not listed, ask your server or a store employee for more info.
Tasting Notes
Nose: An inviting aroma of rich dark chocolate, caramel, and toasted oak, complemented by subtle hints of green apple, dried apricot, and baking spices
Palate: A creamy, full-bodied blend of dark caramel and dried fruits that transitions into signature rye spice, honeyed floral notes, and deep oak tannins
Finish: Exceptionally long and warm, leaving lingering notes of butterscotch, vanilla, and a gentle rye pepper spice.

FEW Spirits Straight Rye Whiskey
FEW Rye is made from a mash of 70% rye, 20% corn and 10% malted barley. "The corn comes from a farmers co-op in Indiana and my barley and rye from farmers in Wisconsin," notes Paul Hletko, owner and Master Distiller. After milling, mashing and fermenting the grains, Hletko distills the wash through his 1,500-liter Kothe copper-pot still imported from Germany.
