WhistlePig Boss Hog IX Siren Song
The Boss Hog IX: Siren's Song Straight Rye Whiskey is a unique spirit in The Boss Hog Odyssey, beginning its journey with the oldest rye whiskey on the farm, boasting a double finish in casks that previously held Greek fig nectar. Siren's Song is bottled between 102.5- 106.2 proof and features supple sweetness and exotic spice. This particular edition also showcases a unique cask finish by WhistlePig's very own Liz Rhoades, head of whiskey development, and Meghan Ireland, head blender.

Barrell Craft Spirits Seagrass
Barrell Seagrass is a blended whiskey that combines American and Canadian rye whiskeys. These were finished in a wild combination of casks that once held Martinique rhum agricole, Madeira wine, and apricot brandy. Meant to invoke "coastal memories" along with plenty of fruit, spice, and herbaceous notes, this unique expression is bottled at around 119 proof. The experiment proved to be a massive success that received universal acclaim, netting several of the most prestigious medals and awards.

Tasting Notes
Nose: High concentrations of bright, fruity esters lend a perfume-like character to the aroma. Honeydew melon and plum sit alongside a slice of ripe apricot resting out in the sun. The underlying rye is revealed by a sea-like salinity, tarragon, and elderflower.
Palate: Sweet and juicy, Seagrass opens on pear, lychee, and white grapefruit. Classic rye flavors of cinnamon, rosemary, fennel seed, and rosehip aren't far behind. Unctuous texture and sandy tannin are complemented by a delicate astringency so common to Canadian whiskeys.
Finish: Fresh and clean, but the persistent tannin and astringency focus the powerful burst of camphor, chalk dust, and scorched earth.
