The Balvenie French Oak 16 Year Old is a vibrant Single Malt Scotch Whisky finished in casks that previously held wine from the French Charentes vineyards. Maturation in American oak casks brings an abundance of vanilla spice and warm honey notes. After 16 years it is finished in Pineau casks to bring energizing grapefruit, geranium, glazed fruit and ginger.

Three is definitely not a crowd in this brilliant marriage of three distinctive cask types, bottled at 46% marrying strength to ensure a rich and full-bodied finish. Created from just 55 hand-selected casks laid down in November 1998, our 2020 Release of Highland Park 21 Year Old is a fine example of a single malt whisky that has truly come of age. We've been crafting our award-winning whisky at the Highland Park Distillery in Kirkwall, Orkney, since 1798.
