The Balvenie 16 Year Old
The Balvenie French Oak 16 Year Old is a vibrant Single Malt Scotch Whisky finished in casks that previously held wine from the French Charentes vineyards. Maturation in American oak casks brings an abundance of vanilla spice and warm honey notes. After 16 years it is finished in Pineau casks to bring energizing grapefruit, geranium, glazed fruit and ginger.

Tasting Notes
Nose: The nose offers a combination of light floral notes, citrus, and honey, with hints of fresh meadow grass and apple skin.
Palate: An energizing zing from tangy lemon rind and grapefruit meet the delicate subtle sweetness of glazed fruits and spice from root ginger.
Finish: The finish is refreshing, with citrus and honey notes, sometimes with a touch of honeydew melon.
Highland Park 15 Year Old Viking Heart
To create 15 Year Old Viking Heart, Gordon Motion, our Master Whisky Maker, selected predominantly sherry seasoned European oak casks to deliver warm, spicy notes and sherry seasoned American oak casks to provide a balance of sweet vanilla. Expertly adding just a few refill casks to soften and smooth the flavours, Gordon chose to bottle at 44% ABV to allow the whisky's vibrant fruitiness and distinctive heathery peat smoke to shine through.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Opening with rich and spicy aromas of crème brulee, heather honey and crumbled cinnamon.
Palate: Intensely fruity notes follow - fresh pineapple dressed with a scattering of sun-kissed lemon zest. There's a hint of freshly-baked sponge cake too, warm from the oven, and you'll find cinnamon again, but toasted shards this time.
Finish: Citrus and vanilla notes linger in the aromatic waves of peat smoke.
