Nose: Initially smoky with hints of fruit and fresh sea air, accompanied by vanilla and oak woodshavings.
Palate: Floral notes abound, followed by raisins and light spices. Malty flavours open up on the palate.
Finish: Soft honey sweetness with hints of shortbread and ginger at the finish.

Nose: Brisk, sharp, and brittle. Complex and excellent; the astonishing balance between sweet and dry. Firmer, drier notes from soft vanillins and crisp grape; sweeter, nuttier ones from malted barley, and cask wood.
Palate: Dry, after early biscuity-sweetness. The enormous malt character contrasts with the thin fruitiness of the grape.
Finish: Very long, dry, oaky. Very faint peppery notes and spice.
