It comes from the Knockdhu Distillery in the Scottish Highlands, a place where traditional production methods are used to craft a refreshingly modern single malt, light and elegant. But give it time, more than three decades' worth in fact, and this crisp, fresh whisky becomes lush and complex, bursting with personality. Filled with our charismatic spirit back when flared jeans were all the rage, hand-picked American oak casks aged quietly in our warehouses to eventually bring us a whisky like no other. Matured in American white oak, ex-bourbon barrels for 18 years in the heart of our vaulted warehouse at Deanston Distillery. With meter thick stone walls and roof, this unique warehouse ensures a steady temperature that provides year round, smooth and even maturation. The result? The Deanston signature profile of sweet, honeyed fruit with a deep rich finish, has been amplified to reach perfection - a Deanston 18 Year Old that is the very best that nature, knowledge and patience can provide!
