Tagalong Batch (2021-02) image
Booker's Tagalong Batch (2021-02)
The deep rich color of Tagalong Batch comes from the mid-to-high rackhouse floor locations where these barrels have matured. With pronounced aromas of caramel and vanilla, balanced with the asweet browna wood sugar flavor notes from the charred white oak barrels, this batch carries a bold flavor with a surprisingly clean finish - making you want to come back for another sip.

Blanton's Special Reserve
At 80 proof Blanton's Special Reserve is ideal for those new to single barrel bourbons. It has a slightly floral nose that conveys whispers of cedar and raisin in between soft vanilla notes. The palate has a light airy feel to it. The taste of vanilla and toffee dance around subtle notes of dried fruit and white pepper. Its smooth consistency makes it perfect for a premium cocktail or served on the rocks. Bottled at 40% alcohol by volume.

Note: A very small quantity of whiskies came from this single barrel, so taste variability is higher than with larger production whiskies. Many times this is not a big deal (i.e. Blanton's), but sometimes it matters (i.e. Larceny Barrel Proof versions). If the specific barrel is not listed, ask your server or a store employee for more info.
