To give Original a delicious, go-anywhere finesse, we make it in our giraffe-high stills, then we age it 10 years in bourbon casks to absorb all manner of delectable flavours. The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve is a non-age-statement (NAS) Speyside single malt Scotch whisky released in 2014-2015 as a smooth, entry-level flagship expression. Created by Master Distiller Alan Winchester, it pays tribute to founder George Smith's 1824 methods by using first-fill American oak casks to produce a creamy palate with fruity, citrusy notes.
