This straight bourbon edition captures the spirit of Christian Heigold, a German who immigrated to Louisville in 1850. As a stonecutter Heigold built a mansion in The Point neighborhood of the city, decorating it with patriotic carvings and epigrams, including a bust of President James Buchanan. Rabbit Hole’s Heigold, a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey made with a high percentage of imported German malted rye. Distilled from 70% corn, 25% malted rye, and 5% malted barley, aged for just under four years in toasted and charred new oak barrels.
